Photogrammetric methods, applied to shock and blast flows in particular. Customized information retrieval interfaces. What we can know about what we see.

Other interests:

Computer programming has kept Doug amused for almost forty years, from early mainframe Fortran to current Windows. His programming activities have included the modeling of nuclear pion production, local tidal flows and, currently, blast waves in air. He is fairly fond of field work (explosive setups for DM&A, hydraulic setups on his wife's water plant farm). He loves trees.
