In 1983, our first trip to New Mexico. On the left are
Fred Winfield (standing) and Ted Jackman, who started their explosive careers in the late
1950s at Defence Research Establishment Suffield, Canada, as did John Dewey, seen here
standing underneath one of our photomarkers. Doug McMillin joined the research team in
1970, at the University of Victoria.
DM&A consolidates over forty years of experience with blast waves
from explosions in air. With its roots in the problems of
the 1950s, this experience now serves today's concerns. We offer solutions to contemporary
problems, the ripened fruits of our experience, delivered using the tools of the
21st century.
